Have you heard about the new “Barre” in North Salem?

When Lori Laub called me beaming about her new venue for teaching barre I couldn’t be more excited. Barre is definitely my most consistent favorite form of exercise for years, and Lori is a fabulous teacher.

Being a hero takes a lot of work. It takes a human being that is selfless; someone that stretches the limits of their potential for other people. Lori Laub thought of all these things while running her Heroes Raising the Barre Classes during the beginning of the pandemic (read the article here). Lori’s efforts raised over $30,000 while helping 25 different charities and small business owners and brought awareness to our local Heroes.

Lori concluded that the best way to strengthen your mind starts with strengthening the body. Her new class, LL Country Barre, has galloped into North Salem and is ready to take you on a workout ride like never before. Classes are a balance of working your body and mind, while inspiring you to reach for the stars. Class options are from either the comfort of your own space or in a private boutique studio.

After class head downstairs to the charming Market at Union Hall . There you will find a great cup of coffee in a cozy atmosphere, along with baked goods.   They have an abundance of great prepared meals and other fine products.

In the parking lot, you will see anything parked from a Ferrari to a pickup truck to a horse.

Owned and run by the sweetest guy Daniel Pereira formerly of Nature Temptations in Ridgefield CT.

Here you can grab and go or sit by the heating lamps and enjoy a delicious latte, something sweet, the best avocado toast around, soups & salads by MyongGourmet.

Lori will be running her in-person and live Zoom classes on Tuesday’s, Friday’s, and Sunday’s at 9:30 am, with afternoon/evenings available for private bookings. To get in touch about classes, you can reach Lori at
