Just a few tickets remain to see Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love’s Holiday Show at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, December 13, at 8 p.m. This show is a unique chance to see a rock ‘n’ roll legend up close and personal belting out her iconic hits such as the No. 1 “He’s A Rebel”, “Da Doo Ron Ron”, “He’s Sure The Boy I’m Gonna Marry” and “Christmas Baby Please Come Home”. Darlene got her start singing backup in countless songs for Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, Dionne Warwick, Cher and Aretha Franklin and many more hit makers. Darlene Love’s performances retain all the power and richness of vocal tone that made her a legend among artists from a classic era of pop music. This season will mark Darlene’s 28th annual holiday performance on Late Show with Dave Letterman. She also performed at the “Hollywood Christmas at the Grove” tree lighting event, which aired on CBS the Friday after Thanksgiving. Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs will be hosting a pop-up holiday boutique in the lobby during this event to help busy people get some shopping done while enjoying a dynamite holiday show.
