The Valley Table Presents TIME TO DINE

  Whether restaurant goers prefer to dine-in or dine-out, The Valley Table’s newest event, TIME TO DINE, has something for everyone. Created to help support local restaurants as they begin to reopen, TIME TO DINE is a 2-week culinary event coming this August. Nearly 200 restaurants that had been scheduled to participate in the Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which was postponed due to Covid-19, will be showcased along with a daily photo contest offering diners the opportunity to win a variety of prizes. TIME TO DINE will run August 17 – 30, 2020.

Mike Martinelli of The Valley Table said: “Restaurants are the lifeblood of our community and need our patronage. Consumer confidence is low right now, and some people are hesitant to venture out. We wanted to create a dining event that had the excitement of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, but also the flexibility to allow people to engage with restaurants in a manner they are comfortable with, whether outdoor or indoor dining, take out or family style meals. Many crave the sense of comfort and a ‘return to normal feeling’ that eating at restaurants had for them. But we seek not only comfort, but safety too – and that goes for both restaurants, employees, and customers. We are asking both sides to make a Safety Pledge and do the best they can to be exemplary.”

In addition to a variety of special offers and promotions from participating restaurants, TIME TO DINE will also feature a daily social media winner. Prizes will range from restaurant gift cards, to event tickets and more! Diners simply need to post a photo of themselves at a participating restaurant or the meal they got from take out, tag the restaurant, and use the hashtag #TimeToDine. Winners will be chosen on a random basis from all social media posts.

TIME TO DINE will offer area residents the opportunity to help support local restaurants as they work to reopen.
