Dance pop diva Taylor Dane rocks out at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, January 24

“Tell It To My Heart”, “With Every Beat Of My Heart”, “I’ll Be Your Shelter”, “Heart Of Stone” and “Love Will Lead You Back” are Taylor Dane’s Top 10 hits among the 75 million albums and singles she has sold worldwide. She will rock The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, January 24, at 8 p.m. Bissell House (Main St., Ridgefield) will pour a free glass of house wine or draught beer the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is part of the Xfinity Rock Series.

Taylor Dayne is still dancing and currently working on remastering her Greatest Hits album. In 2011, her new single “Floor on Fire” broke the Billboard Dance/Club Charts Top 10. A year later, Taylor was featured in the live episode of This American Life, which was broadcast to theaters and radio stations nationwide.

Taylor Dayne the actress appeared in the 1997 sci-fi television series Nightman as Carla Day, a singer who is also the leading character’s love interest, performing many jazz songs. She also performed on Broadway in Elton John’s hit Aida in 2001. She has had roles in independent films such as Fool’s ParadiseStag and Jesus the Driver as well as the Warren Beatty-produced 1994 remake of Love Affair.
