Barnes & Noble Eastchester Celebrates Disney’s Live-Action Adaptation of Beauty and the Beast Movie April 1


Event to Feature Fun Activities for Children Including a Storytime, Themed Activities, and Special Giveaways


Plus a Performance of Selected Songs from the Musical Beauty & the Beast

 Barnes & Noble Eastchester today announced in collaboration with Disney a celebration of the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast that will take place at Barnes & Noble Eastchester on Saturday, April 1, starting at 11 AM. The event, in honor of Disney’s hugely successful live-action Beauty and the Beast movie, which was released on March 17, will feature fun activities for children including a reading of Cynthia Rylant’s Beauty and the Beast picture book, a performance of selected songs from the soundtrack by KJK Productions, themed activities and giveaways, while supplies last.


On April 1, fans of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast are invited to Barnes & Noble Eastchester to celebrate the release of the live-action movie with a special Storytime reading of Cynthia Rylant’s Beauty and the Beast picture book, a classic tale of bravery, transformation and love. After the Storytime portion of the event, fans will be treated to a performance of selected songs from the beloved movie soundtrack by KJK Productions featuring the vocals of Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, & Mrs. Potts who will remain to sign autographs.


Additionally, children will have the opportunity to develop their own story ideas by creating scenes with stickers of characters from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast or writing and drawing a book cover for their own original story.


Customers will also receive special giveaways, including mini-posters featuring the Enchanted Rose and Lost in a Book, as well as bookmarks, while supplies last.
