New York Botanical Garden, The Orchid Show – Sat, 3/3- Sun, 4/22. The Orchid Show celebrates its 16th year at The New York Botanical Garden with this display of thousands of orchids featuring a series of installations by Daniel Ost, the international star of flower arrange. Hailed as the ”Picasso of flower arranging”, his large-scale flower displays have been compared to the work of sculptors Claes Oldenburg, Anish Kapoor, and Andy Goldsworthy. Open Tues-Sun, 10am-6pm.
