Join writer Ruth Appelhof as she talks about her relationship with American Abstract Expressionist artist Lee Krasner – the subject of Lee and Me, Appelhof’s recent personal memoir inspired by the 1974 summer she spent with with Krasner in East Hampton, Long Island.
Appelhof re-examines Krasner’s contributions through the lens of first-hand material based on interviews with Krasner and her friends, fellow artists, gallerists and curators. The recollections offer a lens into the artist’s personal life as well as into her contributions through the groundbreaking work she produced over the course of more than six decades.
