Holy Moly Its National Guacamole Day

Today September 16th according to National Today.com is National Guacamole Day. As a blogger and a social media enthusiast, I rely on National Today to find out what all the quirky holidays are.

Lets face it Guacamole is so delicious it deserves its own special day. I love guacamole!!! Whether alone with chips or on sandwich.  It’s also great atop of swordfish or even a piece of broiled chicken.

It  is so easy to make. It’s hard to make bad guacamole. Guacamole fits into so many of the popular diets of today.   Its vegan, paleo, whole30 not to mention its gluten free.

This guacamole recipe is simple to make and uses fresh, high quality ingredients. It’s easy, authentic and delicious! A traditional Mexican guacamole and the best ever dip or appetizer.

Here is the recipe for Super Easy Super Good Guacamole

Ingredients
  • 3 Avocados, ripe
  • 3 tbsp Cilantro, fresh
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • 1/2 Onion, small
  • 2 Roma tomatoes
    1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit and skin and place in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you’d like.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir together
