The Community Center of Northern Westchester’s Annual Benefit Cocktail Party, sponsored by Curtis Instruments, The Reading Room and Diageo, will take place Friday, October 4th, 2019, in the Fellowship Hall of St. Matthew’s Church at 382 Cantitoe Street, Bedford, New York, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
At this year’s Benefit we are celebrating the “Spirit of our Community.” We are only able to help our neighbors in need thanks to the support, generosity and care of our community. This year’s event is being spearheaded by our Benefit Committee Co-Chairs, Daria Culver, Danielle Genett and Jennifer Niles. “We are excited about the buzz the event has generated and look forward to hosting the event on October 4th.” say the Co-chairs.
This year, the Benefit will be held on a Friday night at St. Matthew’s Church in Bedford, in their welcoming Fellowship Hall. The bucolic setting in Bedford will make for a beautiful start to a fall weekend with a night of celebrating with friends and neighbors. New this year will be catering and a food truck from Village Social in Mount Kisco. Their new Ash and Ale food truck will be serving artisan wood fired pizzas and will offer beer on tap.
The evening will include live music from local musicians, The Hip Replacements, raffle and silent auction items and drinks donated by Diageo, wine and beer supplied by Captain Lawrence and Vine & Co. Proceeds from the event will support the Center’s mission of helping neighbors in need. Clare Murray, Executive Director, is delighted that the event is returning to St. Matthew’s Church, one of our Community Partners. “We so look forward to spending an evening celebrating the Center’s work and the loving support of our community.”
Tickets for the benefit are available and donations can be made online at communitycenternw.org.
