With October just around the corner, I wanted to reach out on behalf of Ellen’s Stardust Diner in Times Square to make sure their exciting Halloween festivities are on your radar for any fun and spooky things-to-do in NYC

Starting the first of October, the diner will be adorned with Halloween décor and guests can enjoy various ‘tricks & treats’ throughout the month including:

  • Sipping on a Specialty Broadway-Themed Halloween Shake – For the entire month of October, guests at Ellen’s can enjoy the “Rocky Horror Pumpkin Shake.” Consisting of a pumpkin ice cream base layered over crumbled Oreos and garnished with a Halloween sprinkle rim, black whipped cream, Halloween themed lollipops, a gummy eye, and candy corn, this treat is ‘scary’ good. Pricing for the shake is $17.50.

  • Enjoying ‘Spooktacular’ Performances by the “Stardusters” – The diner’s world famous singing waitstaff, also known as “The Stardusters,” many of whom have gone onto Broadway, Off Broadway and more will be performing some “Halloween classics” from Broadway shows including Rocky Horror Picture ShowPhantom Of The OperaJekyll & HydeLittle Shop Of HorrorsYoung FrankensteinSweeney ToddCarrieBeetlejuiceAdam’s Family and Bat Boy.  You can watch Stardusters perform during a previous Halloween HERE.

  • Participating in a Halloween Costume Contest – On October 30th, Ellen’s waitstaff will be dressed in their Broadway-themed costumes and the diner will open its doors for a costume contest, with prizes going to the winner. But don’t worry if you miss it! The Stardusters will be decked out in their Halloween best on the 31st as well.
