The Douglas Elliman Realtors Kerry Fedigan and Helen Katz are contributing material to Stacyknows.com, the lifestyle “blogozine” for Westchester women.
Fedigan and Katz plan to contribute details about market information, hot properties, good deals, best new architects, designers, stagers and landscapers, and who’s moving in and out. Readers can find the real estate section of the blog here..
Both women have extensive real estate experience. Fedigan is the founder of GivingHouse.org, which incorporates philanthropy into daily real estate business. She is the mother of two teenage girls.
“For most of us our home is our single most important investment,” Fedigan said. “Through our partnership with StacyKnows we hope to become the ‘go-to page”, for some of the county’s most intelligent and thoughtful women, on hyperlocal market statistics and expertise in buying or selling while simultaneously sharing some lighthearted real estate info.”
Katz, who lives in Armonk with her husband and children, is a well-connected real estate veteran who has home development and construction experience in Westchester, New York City, The Hamptons and Florida.
“We are excited to be part of StacyKnows.com, the only Westchester lifestyle blog that includes a dedicated real estate section,” Katz said.
Stacyknows.com was launched in 2007 by Bedford resident Stacy Geisinger. She provides recommendations for dining, cultural events, art, health, travel, style and more, and reaches over 7,000 subscribers each month. She is excited to have the contributions from Fedigan and Katz.
“Everyone in Westchester is concerned with the price of their home. They want to know what its worth. Westchesterites are constantly considering whether they should upgrade or downgrade or maybe they should just renovate,” Geisinger said. “Adding a real estate section to Stacyknows.com will give my readers more insight on there most valued asset. Knowing what your neighbor paid for his house is a juicy morsel of gossip, and in Westchester, gossiping about real estate is an obsession.”
