While New Yorkers may be wondering when she’ll finally open a location right here, the next best thing is happening just a short trip away.
A new restaurant inspired by Martha Stewart’s iconic New York home is set to open in Massachusetts this spring. The Bedford by Martha Stewart will officially open on March 14 inside the Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket.
The concept is deeply personal to Stewart. The restaurant’s design and atmosphere are modeled after her famous Bedford, New York estate — originally constructed in 1925 — a property that has become almost as well known as Martha herself. From the warm, classic interiors to the refined but approachable menu, the goal is to bring the feeling of dining in Martha’s own home to the public.
At 84, Stewart shows no signs of slowing down.
She first launched The Bedford by Martha Stewart in Las Vegas in 2022, marking her official entry into branded restaurant concepts. The Massachusetts location will be only the second outpost of the restaurant, signaling a thoughtful and curated expansion rather than a rapid rollout.
Naturally, this has many of us asking the obvious question: if Martha is taking Bedford on the road, when is she bringing it back to New York?
For now, fans will have to head to Foxwoods to experience it firsthand.
Even before opening day, the restaurant is already accepting reservations on its website — a strong sign that interest is high and tables will be in demand from day one.
The menu is designed to span breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a mix of comfort classics and elevated favorites. Signature dishes include Big Martha Pierogies, a kurobuta pork chop, and a traditional niçoise salad. The beverage menu stays on brand as well, with playful cocktails like the Martha-tini and Martha-rita adding a signature touch.
More than just a restaurant, The Bedford by Martha Stewart is another extension of her lifestyle empire — one that blends food, design, hospitality, and personal storytelling into a single experience.
If this is what taking Bedford on the road looks like, we can only hope that New York is on her expansion list next.
