Weddings, surprise proposals, and a vow renewal—live at the Crossroads of the World
If you think Valentine’s Day is just overpriced prix-fixe menus and awkward roses, Times Square would like a word.
On February 14, love takes center stage—literally—with Love in Times Square, an all-day celebration featuring two weddings, two surprise proposals, and a mass vow renewal on the iconic Red Steps. Whether you’re madly in love, newly engaged, or married forever-and-a-day, this is one of those “only in New York” moments that feels straight out of a rom-com.
Presented by Times Square Alliance alongside David’s Bridal and Sezzle, the day promises real love stories unfolding in real time—right in the heart of Manhattan.

The evening vow renewal is free and open to all—all ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds. It will also feature a live performance from the Broadway cast of Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), because of course Broadway had to get involved.
✨ Yes, you can still make it to dinner or a show afterward.
đź‘° A Little Extra Magic (and Free Stuff!)
David’s Bridal will be onsite all day surprising couples and passersby with:
-
A love-themed immersive photo moment
-
Giveaways (including the chance to win a free wedding gown)
-
Curated gift bags and scratch-off surprises
Fun fact: David’s Bridal CEO Kelly Cook will officiate one of the weddings—because nothing says modern love like a CEO in Times Square marrying a couple under a billboard.
