Katonah NY closing streets to host huge and safe Sidewalk Sale

After months of being forced to close their doors due to the pandemic, small business retailers in Katonah NY are opening them back up in a bigger way on July 25th 10-5, by moving forward with their Annual Sidewalk Sale! Parts of Katonah Avenue will be shut down to allow for more room for shoppers, vendors, games, additional outdoor seating, and more, and this is the first time this has been done this way, in the hamlet, for many years.

With quaint mom and pop shops offering special deals and discounts, live music from local talent filling the streets all day long, games and activities, pop-ups by local food vendors, a scavenger hunt that involves the mysterious and unique “Katonah Chalker”, to go activity bags from The Katonah Museum of Art, and more, this is sure to be fantastic retail therapy and a great way to spend family time all while supporting small businesses who need the love now more than ever!

Musical performances in the gazebo by local bands: Camper Jam, The Psychedelicats, and Mike Risko Band.
Ample parking will be available in the commuter lots just steps away from Katonah Avenue. Many outdoor dining and take out special options!

Safety will be at the forefront with sanitizing stations at every block of Katonah Avenue, masks required, and gloves as well as extra masks on hand just in case they are needed. There will also be virtual sales being posted throughout the day of on @katonahdaily for those who cannot attend.

This is a rain or shine event, dog and family-friendly.
