HOLIDAYS ON THE HILL
December 9 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
$5 – $10
The Main House will feature a life-size display of Santa’s workshop nestled in a wintry landscape of snow and pine trees. Santa will be there hearing wishes from the children. Bring a camera and take a photo with Santa.
The main house will showcase the model train display, featuring Lionel and similar O scale trains –steam and diesel – traveling through a miniature holiday landscape representing the Metro-North Harlem line from Grand Central Terminal to Katonah. Along the way, the trains pass famous landmarks, a Christmas town, skyscrapers and winter scenes, featuring miniatures of Santa, Rudolf, the Grinch, Peanuts and more.
The house will also feature a fully decorated poinsettia tree. There will be Christmas displays of Rudolf, Charlie Brown and the Grinch.
The Lasdon Conservatory will be open with the debut of “Tropical Christmas Treasures,” highlighting tropical plants used during the holidays.
