At Guild & Grange we support artisans who work with their hands to create one-of-a-kind, functional design-oriented wares/objects using traditional, experimental & modern techniques. Artisans are masters of their craft and create goods such as ceramics, textiles, jewelry, hats, furniture, glassware, and more! These artisanal techniques are learned through decades of knowledge and passed down within families and communities. 🤍Guild and Grange are a grassroots, collaborative project initiated by a group of local community members who want to create a place for exchange, learning and kinship for people who have an appreciation of craft and agricultural traditions. We are so excited for you to meet our makers and see friends and neighbors from our region! #previewparty #tixinbio👆 #katonahguildandgrange @johnjayhomestead #katonahny #northernwestchesterny @cottagesgardens #rivertownsny #coastalct #hudsonvalley #thefivebouroughs #thecatskills #thebirkshires #madebyhand #tradtionaltechniques #supportingmakers #supportsmall #circulareconomy #craftingthefuture #slowliving #zerowaste #ittakesavillage #design #meetthemakers #linkinbio👆 #tix #previewparty @bedfordnewcanaanmag @katonahconnect @northsalempost @914inc @remodelista @departures @dominomag @gothamist @marthastewart48 @newyorkermag @hudsonvalleymag @upstate_diary #sponsors🤍 @cottagesgardens @weareohho @farmers_grind @cottagesgardens @mastmkt @folkways.wines @captlawrence #thankyou @scootmobilebar @shovelreadystringband @baileysbackyard 🎶☀️✨
Over the course of three days in mid-May an assembly of artisans from the Hudson Valley region and beyond will gather in an open-air marketplace on the bucolic rolling meadows at John Jay Homestead in Katonah, NY just an hour north of New York City. Guild & Grange introduces some of our region’s finest artisans to those looking to fill their homes and spaces with unique, locally made craft wares.
Visitors are invited to shop a range of skillfully made one-of-a-kind products, purchase culinary treats from some of our area’s best food trucks, enjoy musical performances by local bands, collaborate in a community art installation, and come together for presentations and demonstrations for the whole family including gardening, winemaking, beekeeping and raising chickens.
The marketplace will include ceramics, textiles, jewelry, furniture, hardware, wood, glassware, soaps, candles, and more made by artisans spanning from Brooklyn through the Hudson Valley from the Catskills to the Berkshires.
The weekend will also serve as a showcase for a remarkable community of talented musicians that have settled in our area featuring bands from School of Rock, Shovel Ready String Band, Fenton Sullivan and Pete Campbell from Horseshoe Farms.
The Friday evening ticketed Preview Party will include a selection of woodfired pizza and fresh salads from Bailey’s Backyard based in Ridgefield, CT; beer from Mt Kisco based Captain Lawrence Brewery and an assortment of locally sourced wines selected by Folkways Wines in North Salem. Even if spinning the reels in demo mode is entertaining, playing casino slots for real money is significantly more thrilling. It allows you to win real money instead of just fun credits that are worthless outside of a casino. The prospect of a single spin paying out large sums is so appealing that we’re ready to risk losing everything. Real money casino slots at Exycasinos.ca employ a random number generator (RNG), which selects one of many potential results at random.
The weekly John Jay Farmers Market will also be on the grounds Saturday with local produce, vegetables, bread, flowers and other specialty food items from area farms, bakers and fishmongers.
