Give Breathe Salt Room a try

Want to breathe easier, sleep more soundly, and feel better overall? Consider dry salt therapy.

A session in the salt room at Breathe requires no more than deep breathing and relaxation. Sit back, unwind and inhale as the micro-particles of pure white salt are dispersed into the air.

Being that it’s cold and flu season and it feels like “everyone” is sick right now, Breathe knows it’s the perfect time to benefit from Dry Salt Therapy, a holistic treatment known to aid in detoxifying the respiratory system and naturally cleanse the lungs, sinuses and air passages.

Breathe Salt Rooms was founded by Gary Patrick, SVP of Advertising for Skechers, and his wife, yoga therapist and breathing expert, Ellen Patrick, both New York City entrepreneurs.

After exploring several of the dry salt therapy rooms in Europe and learning about their extensive positive aspects, the Patrick’s wanted to offer Manhattan a natural alternative to relieving the symptoms of respiratory and skin ailments.  Ellen Patrick, COO, notes, “Our mission is to provide a holistic, drug-free, natural therapy to adults and children to promote better breathing, healthier skin, sounder sleep, improved physical fitness and endurance, while increasing overall health and well being.”

Breathe’s relaxing Salt Rooms allow you to breathe in 100% all-natural salt that is dispersed throughout the room with their unique halogenerator that helps to improve your immune system, skin, enhance sport performance and destroy a stubborn cold! The Eastern European inspired salt room offers the most natural way to improve health, prevent illnesses and enhance physical performance.

Adults and children suffering from a multitude of respiratory and skin conditions as well as allergies, asthma, sinus infections, eczema, psoriasis, colds and flu, report that Dry Salt Therapy is an outstanding effective addition to their overall wellness regime. It also has been shown to decrease stress, decrease snoring and ease sleep apnea.

Celebrities and athletes such as yoga influencer, Elena Brower, Tiki Barber, Chris Ivory from the NY Jets, Aviva Drescher from the Real Housewives, Cristina and Chris Cuomo from CNN, have all been to the salt room and thoroughly enjoyed their experiences, while expressing interest in attending the classes.
