You’re probably familiar with many injectable dermal fillers, like Restylane, Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra, Sculptra and Radiesse. One you probably haven’t heard of is Revanesse Versa. It’s a new filler from a Canadian company(out of Toronto) called Prollenium Medical Technologies. I had not heard of them either until my injector Elena Ginsberg of Primary Aesthetics in Bedford NYsuggested giving it a try. She told me it was a smooth hyaluronic acid filler that worked well for filling nasolabial folds and increasing lip volume. My lips are just thin. I trust Elena, so I decided to give this new product a try.I hate filling my lips for a myriad of reason. One it hurts. 2 I am afraid to look like a duck. 3 There is a fine line (no pun intended) between sexy lips and #overfilled lips.
Just so you know, I was not born with small lips but they aren’t as full as I want them to be. I’ve had filler injected into my lips previously to add volume, so I knew what to expect for my injections this time around. Versa has lidocaine in it like many other fillers, so you don’t experience much pain at your injection sites. I suggest getting numbed first. The injection needles were small too and I was left with no bruising after the filer was injected. I had a tad bit of swelling and that was it.
My results were pretty much instant and I liked what I saw in the mirror. My husband didn’t notice which means they are perfect!!!! I am so happy with the results of my Versa treatment. My lips look incredible and Elena did an amazing job injecting them.
