Last Chance for Live Music in the Sculpture Garden at the Katonah Museum of Art
The Harlem Chamber Players, August 5, 5:30 – 8pm
Bring a blanket and picnic dinner to enjoy live music in the Katonah Museum of Art’s beautiful Sculpture Garden for the last Caramoor@KMA concert of the season. Co-produced by the Katonah Museum of Art and the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, this lively series of concerts has brought together three musical genres: American roots, jazz and classical. The final concert, on August 5 from 5:30-8pm, features the Harlem Chamber Players. Known for his “bright tone and fine overall sense of style” (Dennis Rooney of The Strad Magazine), violinist Ashley Horne leads this chamber ensemble. Ashley Horne has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician around the world. Among many stellar performances, Orlando Wells has played viola with St. Lukes Chamber Orchestra, with popular artists such as Mariah Carey, John Legend, Rihanna, Harry Connick Jr., Dionne Warwick, and Elvis Costello. Cellist Amy Ralske will also be performing.
