Casino employees, joined by local shelter dogs, will make more than 100 pull toys from
old t-shirts for Paws Crossed Animal Rescue – Monday, April 30th from 11:00am – 1:00pm

In support of National Adopt a Pet Day, Empire City Casino at Yonkers Racewayis partnering with Volunteer New York and Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, based in Westchester, to host an employee volunteer event on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 11:00am – 1:00pm: Project Rescue Dog Pull Toy. Accompanied by furry friends, shelter puppies Hocus and Alakazam, more than 50 employees will join together with the goal of making more than 100 pull toys out of clean, recycled t-shirts, for shelter dogs in need. Hocus and Alakazam are 10 week old Labrador Retriever mixes and part of the shelter’s ‘Magic Dogs’ including: Hocus, Pocus, Abra, Cadabra, Alakazam, Presto, Shazam and mom, Houdini.
