Muse Paintbar Uncorks in White Plains
Studio Combining Painting Instruction with Wine Bar Opens in White Plains
Well, I know what I’ll be doing this weekend. Muse Paintbar has opened its doors for classes at the company’s first Westchester location. Grab your girlfriends (or boyfriends), maybe your mother/daughter or even the whole family and head over to 84 Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains.
“Muse allows us to share our passion and create art in a fun, relaxed atmosphere,” says co-founder Vanessa Leigh. The studio is managed by both Leigh and president, Stan Finch.
Muse Paintbar is the destination for artists and non-artists of all ages and skill levels.
The paintbar is perfect for some alone time, a girl’s night out or to host a special occasion! Couples’ paintings are also available where artists will guide you and your special someone through a joint painting.
To participate:
- simply visit MusePaintbar.com
- click on White Plains’ page
- scroll through the online calendar to view each evening’s availability
- and register
Classes average $35 per person, but prices may vary for fundraisers, special events or special sessions. The company donates five percent of profits to local causes and partners with local suppliers.
After sign-up:
- just show up for the fun
Muse Paintbar provides expert instructors, acrylic paints, a series of brushes and a canvas, and an apron. Instructors will guide them stroke-by-stroke from blank canvas to finished masterpiece, ready to display or gift. While painting, guests can also enjoy a great selection of food, wine and beer.
