The 43rd Annual Bedford Art Show kicks off with a preview party on Fri, 1/22 that includes a champagne reception, hors d’oeuvres and desserts from G.E. Brown, Campagna, DiNardo’s Restaurant and Happiness Is. The show weekend continues on Sat. & Sun. featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional art, sculpture, photography, jewelry and tabletop items. This year’s show, co-chaired by Laura Blau of Bedford and Laurie Sturz of Pound Ridge features several artists from the NYC art collective Chashama. The show judges Peter MacGill of Pace/MacGill Gallery in Manhattan and art-writer Mimi Thompson Rosenquist. Show proceeds benefit local charities supported by the Women of St. Matthew’s.
