Unwrap the Magic of the Holidays with a Billboard-Charting Country Sensation Bringing Community Spirit to Westchester!

Jessica Lynn, her band, and performers from throughout the Hudson Valley are currently preparing for “A Very Merry Country Christmas” – her Broadway-caliber Christmas extravaganza that ushers in a whole lot of seasonal spirit, goodwill, and just about every element of Christmas that makes the season so magical.

The family-oriented production has become a genuine New York tradition rivaling some of the city’s biggest holiday events. Listed first among the “7 Great Things to Do in the Hudson Valley for The Holidays” by Lohud.com, A Very Merry Country Christmas is a sensational multimedia presentation featuring a 7-piece band, local area children’s choirs, dancers, musicians, dazzling special effects, a little country flair, a visit from Santa, and even snow!

It’s a community event of spectacular scope and scale. Besides Jessica and her core band which features Jessica’s dad (a former NYPD officer) on bass guitar, her mom on vocals, and her husband playing lead guitar, the production utilizes various performers local to each venue (dance schools, choirs, instrumentalists, marching bands, etc.) making the program a truly reflective signature of the local community.  Performers from Star Struck Dance StudioNext Level DanceStreet Beatz Dance Studio, The Dance ConservatoryThe HIVE Dance CenterNick Bukuvalas, Counterpoint A Capella (under the direction of Prentice Clark), and the Lakeland High School Choir, (under the direction of Robert Yapchanyk) are all part of the show. Many of these dancers spend most of the year competing against one another – so A Very Merry Country Christmas marks a special time when they can unite and work together for a very special cause. That aspect really does point to the spirit of the season.

The evening benefits The U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys For Tots Foundation. It’s become the biggest toy drive of the year for the regional New York branch.  We encourage all patrons to bring new, unwrapped toys with them to the lobby of the theater the night of the show to help children in need.

It’s all going down at the Paramount Hudson Valley on Saturday December 16th at 8:00PM, and Sunday December 17th at 3:00PM.
