Armonk native Nina Markowitz wrote some articles published here years ago, when she graduated college and couldn’t find a job. Since then, she’s had many jobs. And since then she’s decided maybe it’s best to work for herself.
Nina just started a card company — The Poisoned Pen Paper Co. — with a line of 47 sassy cards with wishes like “May you always be carded” and gratitude like “Thanks for cropping out my fat arm.”
There’s also “Congratulations on your boss’ promotion based upon all your hard work,” which is a best seller.
They’re the kinds of brutally honest cards any Westchester girl could really appreciate.
