Located in the charming waterside community of Piermont, NY, restaurateurs David and Jill Kaliff opened the doors to their historic gas station-turned-restaurant and gathering place in July 2022. Otto’s Full Service quickly filled a void in the local dining and social landscape, offering an elevated American menu with global influences, a convivial bar and piano lounge, and multiple dining rooms, including an expansive outdoor patio, providing the area with a much-needed private event space.
Today, Otto’s continues to offer food enthusiasts a unique dining experience, with Executive Chef Phil Iannuccilli keeping things fresh, locally sourced whenever possible, and innovative. Chef Iannuccilli is accomplished and accredited in culinary and pastry arts. He introduces a variety of international flavors to Otto’s menu, drawing from his culinary experiences in Southeast Asia, London, and Barcelona. Before opening Otto’s, he served as the Executive Chef at the prestigious Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, CT.
Otto’s Full Service is rolling out an exciting agenda for 2025. An enhanced live music program includes a steady line-up of the area’s most talented musicians. It includes Latin Music on Wednesdays, Jazz on Thursdays, and a special Piano Brunch. Music lovers can look forward to an eclectic variety of styles from all musicians. Reservations are encouraged.
On Sunday, January 26, Chef Iannuccilli introduces his Sunday dinner pop-up series, “Otto’s Does.” Otto’s Does Chinese Food January 26- March 30. Diving into his extensive culinary background in Asian cuisine, Otto’s’ Chinese food menu will be filled with everyone’s favorite left side of the menu appetizers to a variety of meat, seafood, rice, and noodle dishes, all prepared with top-notch ingredients and presented in a fun family style manner or as classic take-out Chinese. Guests can look forward to steamed pork buns, Sichuan wontons, General Tso’s chicken, Mongolian beef, char siu pork bbq, kung pao shrimp, shrimp fried rice, roast pork lo mein, and more. The Chinese food menu will only be offered for Sunday dinner, January 26-March 30. After which, a new cuisine will be explored for the spring.
“My team and I are looking forward to preparing something new for our customers for Sunday dinner. We often hear how restaurants don’t switch up their menus enough, says Chef Iannuccilli, “and while we do our best to keep things fresh and seasonal, these culinary journeys will be exciting and fun for our guests and for us! We’re starting with Chinese American food, which fits my philosophy of what American food is – a melting pot of cuisines. Otto’s can do anything. Starting January 26, Otto’s Does Chinese Food!”
In addition to Otto’s live music program and new Sunday culinary journeys, Friday Happy Hour ends the work week with local craft beer deals, cocktail specials, and a tasty bar bites menu filled with a wide range of flavors, from Cajun fried oysters to Peking duck chips and charred java beef. Pull up a seat at the bar or in Otto’s popular lounge around the stunning Steinway Grand Piano.
