Mrs. Green’s to Celebrate Grand Opening with Community Events and Preview Party Benefiting Riverkeeper 

On Friday, December 20th, Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is opening its doors in the Rivertown community of Tarrytown, NY. Mrs. Green’s Natural Market (45 North Broadway) will offer 100% organic produce, all-natural meats and dairy, artisanal baked goods, supplements, and household products.

Mrs. Green’s Tarrytown will celebrate its grand opening with a dramatic “Winter Wonderland” experience designed to transform the space and delight guests. The grand opening celebration will span the entire week and include a host of activities for foodies, families and culture-seekers.

The Thursday evening Preview Party on December 19^th, from 6:30-8:30, is open to the public and will feature an interactive stop action art project, carolers, an array of delicious and wholesome samplings, and a silent auction of eco-oriented items, the funds of which will benefit Riverkeeper, New York’s clean water advocate. Friday through Sunday attractions will include more live music by area singer/songwriter Curtic Becraft, Holiday Storytelling for the younger visitors, and continued tastings throughout the store.

The 45 North Broadway location has been vacant for a number of years, occupied formally by The Tarrytown Gourmet for over a decade. The store will increase the town’s “green” profile and support Tarrytown’s existing reputation as a destination for eco-conscious shoppers. Currently the community boasts three farm-to-table restaurants, a natural olive oil purveyor, a natural home store, and a smaller recently opened natural products boutique.

With an all-organic salad bar, wholesome to-go meals and beverage bar serving Fair Trade coffee and organic juices, Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is a true one-stop-shopping experience for health conscious customers.

Mrs. Green’s Tarrytown follows other recent grand openings in Hartsdale NY, Chicago, IL and its first Canadian location in Calgary, Alberta. Next on the map are Dobbs Ferry, NY, New Canaan, CT, Fairfax, VA, Princeton, NJ, and NYC’s West Village.
