Big news for food lovers and casino-goers—Foxwoods Resort Casino is adding a high-profile dining experience this fall with The Bedford by Martha Stewart! If the name sounds familiar, it’s because the lifestyle guru herself is bringing her signature touch to Connecticut, a place she once called home.
Inspired by Stewart’s 1925 farmhouse in Bedford, New York, The Bedford promises to offer an elevated dining experience with breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options. The menu will feature some of Martha’s favorite seasonal recipes, crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Signature dishes include her famous Kurobuta Pork Chop, Niçoise Salad, and a cherished family recipe for Pierogies. And, of course, you can sip on one of her signature cocktails, like the Martha-tini or the frozen pomegranate Martha-rita.
This marks the second The Bedford location—the first opened at Paris Las Vegas in 2022 and has been a hit with diners. If the Las Vegas menu is any indication, expect mouthwatering entrees such as roast chicken, honey mustard salmon, cioppino, lemon risotto with sea scallops, and a Colorado rack of lamb.
Exciting Changes at Foxwoods
Foxwoods, now celebrating its 33rd year, isn’t stopping at just a new restaurant. The resort casino is undergoing significant upgrades, including a complete renovation of the Great Cedar Hotel. The redesign will feature increased ceiling heights, fully transformed bathrooms, upgraded fixtures, and a boutique woodland retreat vibe. Guests can also look forward to a refreshed lobby and an inviting firepit area.
Poker fans will be happy to hear that Foxwoods’ new poker room is moving to the Fox Tower with expanded hours and easy access to the Fox Tower garage. Plus, recent additions include the high-limit gaming room Club Newport, the stylish Grand Bar (which hosted filming for Hell’s Kitchen seasons 23 and 24), and Grace by Nia, a live music lounge.
If you’re a foodie, there’s even more to look forward to. Momosan by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is set to open this spring at Great Cedar Concourse, serving up delights like gyoza, sushi rolls, ramen, and soft-shell crab bao.
The Great Wolf Lodge is Coming Soon
Another major project in the works at Foxwoods is the highly anticipated Great Wolf Lodge at Mashantucket, expected to open this spring. This addition will bring a family-friendly indoor water park and resort experience to the area, making Foxwoods an even bigger entertainment destination.
“As we celebrate 33 years of Foxwoods, it’s humbling to reflect on how far we’ve come,” said Jason Guyot, President & CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino. “This year’s milestones are more than just upgrades; they’re a testament to our drive to create unforgettable moments for our guests.”
With all these exciting changes, Foxwoods is proving once again why it remains one of the premier resort casinos in the country. Whether you’re there for the games, the food, or a weekend getaway, there’s something new to experience. And come this fall, you just might find yourself dining like Martha Stewart herself!
