What are the best ways to pose for photos to look good, slim, taller, etc?

1. We all know the “Cover Girl” shot on magazines; model facing forward, hands on hips. To make your waist appear smaller, simply move your hands in a little.

2. Remember this…what is further away appears smaller. So lean forward, push your hips back and smile!

3. Chin out and down. Gives you a better jaw line and when your chin is down a bit, your eyes appear larger because you have to look up to see the camera.

4. Solid colors are best!

5. For red carpet poses, face hips angled away from the camera but turn waist and head towards the photographer. And chin out and down.

11. By putting one hand on your hip, your arm will look smaller and show more of a waistline.

12. Posture is everything. Back straight, stomach in (don’t suck in too much).

13. Women should be shot from above, not below…..men are ok from below, they like to look bigger 🙂Gabby-LWP (1)
