Celebrate Independence Day at the Yonkers Waterfront on July 4 with fireworks, live music and a variety of food offerings from area restaurants.

The festivities are being sponsored by the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency and the Yonkers Business Improvement District.
“We are expecting hundreds to join us on July 4 for fireworks, food and fun,” said Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. “This is a special day to salute our nation and celebrate with family and friends. If you have not been here before, now is the perfect time to visit our revitalized waterfront.”
The fun will take place at the Yonkers Historic Pier at 71 Water Grant Street. Entertainment by a DJ begins at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks display along the Hudson at 9:15 p.m. presented by the Pyro Engineering.
Downtown restaurants including X20 Xaviars on the Hudson, Dolphin, Francey Brady’s, Zuppa Restaurant, Guapo Cocina Mexicana, Le Moulin Eatery and Wine Bar, La Bella Havana and Yonkers Brewing Company will offer a variety of foods including at special BBQ at X20.
