Extensive precautions, including proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test will be required for entry at all shows. Other safety guidelines include:
- Mandatory contactless temperature check and wellness screening at the front door
- All patrons are required to wear a mask or face covering when entering and moving throughout public areas
- Seating for all shows will be in pods to ensure safe social distancing
Pods have been designed to ensure the health and safety of City Winery guests, visiting artists, and employees. To ensure strict observance of social distancing practices, concertgoers will purchase reserved seating pods and can pre-order their food and beverages. Fans can select the appropriate pod size for their group (all pods are for 2 or 4 people, larger groups can email [email protected] to combine pods together after purchase) and enjoy the show from their own reserved section of the lawn, spaced a minimum of six feet apart from all other pods. VIP Pod Packages are also available, seating parties of up to ten guests in enhanced comfort, with a cushioned private seating area, dedicated service, an exclusive entrance, and more. Fans are welcome to take off their masks in their pods. Ticket pods can be purchased here.
“Admittedly, social distancing circles and masks didn’t figure into my original dream of hosting outdoor shows on this expansive and beautiful lawn surrounded by vineyards, but these safety measures are part of our company’s hospitality practices, and we all embrace them. I am excited to have this opportunity to finally bring live music to the Hudson Valley and have fans fully experience our food and wine options,” Dorf continued. “We are also very proud to be generating our own electricity from the Hydro Electricity from the old mill on the Wallkill River, making our facility and this concert series a fully net zero user of energy. It feels good to emerge from this pandemic with eye on being environmentally conscious moving forward,” Dorf added.
More information about concert series protocols, details about City Winery’s company-wide safety measures, and the lineup for the summer can be found on the website. In result of bad weather and the cancellation of any show, guests will be offered the option of store credit, a restaurant gift card or a refund.
The Concert in the Summer Series at City Winery Hudson Valley is presented in partnership with 92.7/96.9 WRRV.
