Westchester Youth Alliance –Teen Community Service opportunity— SUNDAY MAY 15th 12-3PM!
All teens are invited to join WYA in planting the Garden of Hope-Community Garden that supplies 100% of it’s fresh produce to local food pantries for those in need. The garden’s core value is that 100 of its yield goes to food pantries. One of the main beneficiaries is the
First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown Food Pantry, which serves 150 families and 500 people per week.
WYA teens worked last spring to break ground on the garden and many volunteers are needed on Sunday to plant hundreds of seedlings.
