On,Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Gabriele’s Restaurant in Greenwich, CT, the Caliber Collection had its debut.
Jewelry for a Cause, a company devoted to the idea that purchasing jewelry can be an act of philanthropy, celebrated the launch of its newest retail line, The Caliber Collection. The Caliber Collection is made from reclaimed guns and bullet casings taken off the streets of Newark, NJ through seizure and gun buy-back programs. This inspiring collection, which is now available online (calibercollection.com), will generate funds to further support the expansion of gun Buyback and amnesty programs in Newark and other cities across the nation.
Special guest, Newark Police Director Samuel A. DeMaio and the premier of a documentary short about the issue of gun violence in America’s cities and the creation of The Caliber Collection were among the evening’s highlights.
