Attention All Golfers! Home Green Advantage Putting Greens Will Be Featured At The Journal News Golf Show

Home Green Advantage (HGA), a custom golf green installation company specializing in the installation of residential, commercial, and promotional golf greens, will once again be an exhibitor at The Journal News Golf Show, which will take place on March 12th and 13th at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, N.Y.

Home Green Advantage will have several putting greens set up throughout the show for contests and lessons.

“We’re very pleased and excited to be participating in the 2016 Journal News Golf Show,” said HGA CEO Michael Lehrer.  “The new venue will give us the opportunity to offer several practice greens that attendees can use.  As in previous years, HGA will be hosting a putting competition, with entry fees being donated to the Metropolitan Golf Association Scholarship Program.”

Now in its 11th Year, The Journal News Golf Show has grown into the Lower Hudson Valley’s premier golf exhibition.  Every year, thousands of golfers come to experience the show’s hands-on exhibits and activities that include a driving range where they can hit balls and try out the latest clubs from the major equipment manufacturers.   PGA professionals will be on hand to offer free lessons and workshops and industry leaders will offer demonstrations.   There will be a dedicated area for women and junior golfers and a pro shop offering huge discounts on equipment and the latest in golf fashions.   The show will feather more than 75 exhibitors representing golf courses, ranges, resorts, products and more.

“The Westchester Marriott is the perfect venue to host the show in 2016 offering a blend of charm and convenience.  It is easily accessible throughout the Lower Hudson Valley and has ample free parking,” said George Troyano, publisher of The Journal News.

The Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) and Metropolitan PGA will be participating in the show, offering free instruction on the MGA Education Stage.  This year’s MGA instruction team includes Brian Crowell, Steve Scott, Bill Smittle and Kirk Oguri, who will be conducting workshops.  Gene Westmoreland will provide instruction on the rules of golf.  Karen Young will be giving a golf-centric yoga demonstration.  The show will include seminars and hands-on training for all levels of golfers and local golf pros will be on hand to demonstrate the latest in golf equipment.

On Saturday  morning, The  Executive  Women’s  Golf  Association  will host  the  Women’s  Networking  Breakfast, featuring speeches by Kyla  Basso,  the vice president  of  sales and  marketing  at Edgewood  (NJ) Country  Club  and  Elis  Gaudet,  the  president  of  Executive  Golf  International.  Tickets are $30 and include breakfast, admission to the show and a gift from the MGA.

On Sunday at 11:15 A.M., an informative round-table discussion about college and the recruiting process will take place.  The discussion will feature Frank Darby, the men’s coach at Manhattan College, Ambry Bishop, the women’s coach at St. John’s University and Chris Case, the head professional at the Mt. Kisco Country Club.

The Journal News Golf Show will takes place on March 12th and 13th at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown.  The show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
