The Katonah Museum of Art invites you to an evening with the legendary style icon, André Leon Talley, at the Himmel Award and Lecture, taking place Sunday, November 8th , 5pm at the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Headquarters in Purchase, NY. The event will kick-off with a short program, and then a lecture led by Talley. An optional VIP wine reception and book signing with the awardee will immediately follow.
As a fashion arbiter and commentator, Talley’s dynamic personality and long career have embraced some of the biggest names in the fashion and magazine industry. An early protégé of Diana Vreeland who was also an assistant for Andy Warhol, Talley’s work spans the worlds of art, design, and fashion. His new book, Oscar de la Renta: His Legendary World of Style, was recently published by Rizzoli.
Tickets to the lecture start at $50 and are fully tax-deductible. Patron tickets ($250, $190 tax-deductible) include access to the reception and book signing following the lecture.
