Prepare for a force-filled weekend as LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester and Stars Wars team up for the LEGO Star Wars MINILAND Takeover weekend at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, 22nd. Fans of all ages are invited to enjoy the weekend’s LEGO themed Star Wars events in the attraction at Westchester’s Ridge Hill, Yonkers.
“The LEGO® Star Wars MINILAND Takeover weekend will feature some exciting activities guaranteed to bring the spirit of one of the most beloved film series of all time to our very own LEGOLAND Discovery Center,” said Chris Mines, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.
The weekend will feature fun-filled LEGO Star Wars activities including: a scavenger hunt, where Jedi Master clue-hunters are invited to search through MINILAND; a LEGO Star Wars-themed Master Model Builder Academy, where guests learn to create figures from Star Wars; and a large group LEGO build of an iconic Star Wars model figure. Fans can also take pictures with Imperial Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion as they will be making appearances throughout the weekend in full regalia.
All activities taking place during the LEGO Star Wars MINILAND Takeover Weekend, with the exception of pictures, are included in the price of admission to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. Annual pass holders will be invited to attend an exclusive preview event prior to the general public on Friday, September 20th.
