| Join us on Saturday, July 27 for a special day-long jazz celebration hosted by the one-and-only John Pizzarelli!Presented in memory of Maria Traversa, a dear member of the Burns family and programmer for our Jazz Sessions series.
Featuring live performances and spellbinding documentaries, this is the perfect way to spend a Saturday at the Burns. This jazz celebration is part of our 2024 Sounds of Summer series Take 3 Wine Bar & Café will be open throughout the day. We’ll kick off the day with a Morning Jam, featuring live music and much more! |

| With their feature leader Jon-Erik Kellso on trumpet, Matt Munisteri on guitar, Scott Robinson on saxophone, and Pat O’Leary on bass, the EarRegulars play swinging, melodic classic jazz, i.e. everything from New Orleans style through the Tin Pan Alley classics, the swing era, and mainstream jazz. They don’t play half-hour-long solos, although it’s not unusual for a song to last 10 minutes or more; they like to take their time and enjoy exploring ensemble improv, a conversational style. They approach traditional jazz in an open-minded, in-the-moment way. This band often smiles and laughs (yes—even on stage!), and is not ashamed of this. |
