An 18-time Grammy Award winner and a 1987 inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Franklin is an R&B legend, whose myriad hits include “Respect,” “Chain of Fools,” “Think” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Freeway of Love” and “Baby I Love You.” So, yeah, she’s kind of a big deal.
Aretha Franklin, will perform at the County Center on March 27. Rolling Stone magazine gave her the R-E-S-P-E-C-T by naming her the greatest singer of all time (followed by Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Sam Cook and John Lennon.)
