The New Canaan Food Revolution, generously sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties returns for the 9th year on Saturday, May 18th from 9.30–11:45am. Produced by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, 100% of ticket sales will go to The Sunshine Kids – a non-profit foundation for children with cancer.
The walkable, downtown ‘Food Trail’ was originally created to encourage picky eaters to sample bites to eat and feel confident about trying different foods. Nowadays entire families get involved and it’s a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. This year New Canaan Farmer’s Market have partnered to provide a selection of CT purveyors at their Railroad/Lumberyard Lot on Elm Street.
Participants will check in at Berkshire Hathaway and be given a wristband and passport map to leisurely follow. You earn a stamp for everything you taste, and everyone receives a BRAVERY CERTIFICATE for at least trying. Those who return their completed passport will be entered into a live prize drawing.
Organizer Rachel Lampen says “Despite the rain in 2023, we had 150 people going on the food trail. This event has ignited a passion in families experiencing different foods together and has put artisans on the map. It’s all inclusive and exciting so grab your friends, parents and grandparents and do something fun together for a fantastic cause.” With 16 stops, arrive hungry – you will be tasting delicious savory, spicy, hot, cold, and sweet bites to eat.
Tickets are available to purchase in advance at $12 per person ($15 on the day)
