New event will feature Wine Expert Kevin Zraly and Tarry Lodge Executive Chef Andy Nusser
A newcomer to the Wine & Food Festival this year is Salute! A Wine Tasting Tour of Italy. This fabulous event will take place on Tuesday, June 6th from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center in Tuckahoe. The event is hosted by Joe Armentano, member of the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. Celebrate the regions of Italy during this walk-around tasting featuring the red and white wines of Tuscany, Veneto, Piedmonte, Trentino-Alto, Adige, Sicily and Sardinia while enjoying fine Italian delicacies provided by DeCicco & Sons.

Join author and wine expert Kevin Zraly in the “Gran Selezione Cellar” for tastings of special vintages. Enjoy a lively cooking demonstration of an Italian specialty. Chef Andy Nusser of Tarry Lodge will prepare Mortadella & Robiola Panini and Peach Crostata with Lemon Thyme Ricotta. DeCicco’s will provide Italian specialty foods and desserts.
