There is a new immersive experience in NYC this week, just in time for Fashion Week. “Experience The Times of Bill Cunningham” is an exhibit to bring the photographers larger than life into focus. There are two levels at 16 Fulton Street that will celebrate Bill Cunningham’s life and work through a must-see immersive journey, chronicling growth as a documentarian, fashion historian, and culture-maker through a series of multi-sensory exhibits.
One of my favorite parts of the exhibit was seeing Bill’s trademark blue jacket and signature bicycle. The excitement around him was something you could not even imagine. His eye for street fashion was incredible and everyone wanted him to take their photo for the Sunday Style Section.
