Let’s Get Ready (LGR) provides free SAT tutoring and college application assistance to students of lower income backgrounds, helping them to attain their dream of attending college.
LGR mobilizes and trains college students and young professionals to be volunteer “Coaches,” mentors, and role-models. To date, LGR has served over 20,000 students at sites spanning from Philadelphia to Maine.
LGR is looking for motivated, dependable and enthusiastic students to volunteer once a week.
Coach Position Description:
Who: College students wanting to give back
What: Work intensively with a group of approximately 5-7 high school juniors
When: One night a week from mid-June until August

LGR provides the training, materials, and curriculum.
*Applicants must have scored at least a 600 in the subject that they would like to teach or have previous tutoring experience.
