When this contest started didn’t pay much attention I was 15th in my group. I mean. Fab over 40, I am pushing 62.
Then I started texting my friends and low and behold I was in 5th place, then 4th, then 3rd.
I must say every vote felt like an amazing hug!!!! I can’t tell you how each vote made me feel. I can’t say thank you enough for all that have already voted and continue to vote for me every day. I can’t tell you how much it would mean to me to win this contest. Thank you so much for your consideration!
Then a miracle happened. Someone I hardly knew donated $250 which became 500 votes and I was in 1st place in my group. It was super exciting.
I had made it from the Top 10 to the Top 5. All of a sudden was in 1st place in my group. It was beyond exciting.
Now I am in the Quarter Finals, there are still a lot of fabulous women in this. They are fierce competitors. I found myself in 10th place, but with a few small donations by amazing people, I am now in 8th.
I was about to give in.
But, I am not a quitter…..
