Legendary GRAMMY Award-winning R&B group Kool & The Gang will bring the funk to Empire City Casino, Manhattan’s closest casino and one of the largest gaming destinations in the northeast, Friday, August 16 at 8:00 p.m. Guests are invited to get down on the track for a night filled with iconic soul and discos hits. The Jersey City group started producing music in 1969, marking 2019 as their 50th anniversary performing together. Kool & The Gang has influenced four generations of fans with its timeless hits including Celebration, Jungle Boogie, Ladies Night, and Get Down On It, and have merited two GRAMMY Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top 10 R&B hits, nine Top 10 Pop hits and 31 albums that have earned gold or platinum status.
From Africa to Asia and back to America, Kool & The Gang has performed continuously longer than any R&B group in history.
