The Support-A-Walk for breast & ovarian cancer, presented by Support Connection, Inc., is a 3-mile walkathon held to bring attention to the needs of people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Each year, thousands of people from across the Hudson Valley come together for this uplifting event. Many participants walk in celebration of or in tribute to those affected by these diseases. There will be face-painting, music, and characters for the kids. Families with children of all ages walk together as a way to contribute to their community. Proceeds from the Support-A-Walk help fund Support Connection’s free support services for anyone affected by breast and ovarian cancer. This event is free but donations are greatly appreciated. Participants are encouraged to seek donations to support this cause.
