Bringing an edgy Manhattan vibe to the quaint Hamptons neighborhood, the seasonal menu will focus on light seafood and a raw bar in the summer and will evolve to become more rustic and heartier in the Fall for year-round patron

 Lower East Side transplant Black Tree brought their edginess to Southampton with the launch of new restaurant North Sea Tavern & Raw’r Bar (1271 North Sea Rd), an innovative and sustainable seafood joint that opened it’s doors Friday, August 7.

The team behind the new concept includes co-owner and Executive Chef Sandy Dee Hall, along with co-owners Jon Pirozzi (who also co-owns Stone Creek Bar in Manhattan) and Cletus McKeown (who managers event space The Wooly in FiDi). The restaurant looks forward to embracing local farmers and fisherman and will offer a sustainable seafood menu that will be modified daily based on market availability, keeping items fresh and new each week. Launching the expansive space with 80 seats and plenty of room indoors with a front and back patio, the new restaurant will be a great location to enjoy the beautiful weather during the Hamptons high season. Already opening with a hot new $1 oyster happy hour from 4-7p, and a picnic basket delivery service (attached details) to bring delicious food to your doorstop or beach blanket, the new restaurant with be the Hamptons go to destination for innovative dishes and a social environment that you can enjoy at the restaurant or anywhere!
