Jefferson Airplane’s 50th Anniversary at Ridgefield Playhouse

Come celebrate Jefferson Airplane’s 50th Anniversary at a special concert at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

This Thursday, August 13th at 8:00 p.m., music by the legendary rock group JEFFERSON AIRPLANE will be performed by Jefferson Starship to celebrate the group’s founding.

Jefferson Starship — created by Jefferson Airplane founder and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee — Paul Kantner, features David Freiberg, former Jefferson Airplane band member, and is fronted by Grammy-nominated singer Cathy Richardson, doing Grace Slick proud.

Joining Jefferson Starship for this historic show is acclaimed ensemble Jazz is Dead, reforming after a 10-year hiatus. Jazz is Dead is famous for instrumental interpretations of the Grateful Dead‘s repertoire. Original Grateful Dead pianist Tom Constanten will join the band for this concert, hosted by legendary Grateful Dead sound engineer Dan Healy.
