Aruba, Jamaica, oooh I wanna take ya. To Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty  mama. Montego why don’t we go!!!

 

I took 2 trips to the Bahamas this winter and I can’t wait to go back.

I wish I was still in the BAHAMAS.  Its hard to say no,  to a trip to the Carribean, with its beautiful weather,  crystal clear water and white sand beaches, Merging creativity, cuisine and culture that makes the Caribbean a unique travel destination.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization, is  prepping for the 2015 edition of Caribbean Week in New York,  “Rum & Rhythm Benefit & Auction.”

“The Ultimate Caribbean Epicurean Experience”

The Rum & Rhythm affair – which will be held June 5 at Tribeca 360 at 10 Desbrosses St. in Manhattan – will feature samples of the region’s award-winning rums, Caribbean culinary cuisine, music and a fund-raising silent auction benefiting the CTO Foundation for Caribbean nationals pursuing studies in tourism and hospitality.

Savor the taste, spirit and sounds of the Caribbean at the 2015 Rum & Rhythm™ Benefit & Auction. This signature event, a fundraiser to benefit the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Foundation, will take guests on an enchanting journey that encapsulates the vibrant cultures, eclectic cuisines, pulsating rhythms and quintessential experiences to be enjoyed in the Caribbean. Patrons take a look at the choice selection of Caribbean rums at last year’s Rum & Rhythm event, part of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Caribbean Week in New York.

The CTO is offering a variety of sponsorship opportunities for Caribbean Week – June 1 through 5 – which annually attracts of government officials and tourism policy makers, representatives of airlines, cruise lines, hotel and other travel-related firms. Caribbean Week events include the Diaspora forum featuring government officials, a students’ colloquium, the Caribbean Media Awards Luncheon, a networking breakfast for CTO government and non-Government Members, the Caribbean Marketing Conference and the Caribbean Celebrity Chef Program
