We sat down with Honestly Now Pro Stacy Geisinger and asked her a few honest questions of our own. Get to know Stacy, just one of the many amazing Pros on Honestly Now!

What do you do, and what are you known for?

I have a blog that connects cool people to cool things.

How did you land on your current career?

I was addicted to the internet, and seemed to be the go-to gal my whole life. Someone said “you should have a website”. I met someone at a bar who said they used to work for Google. They told me to go on Blogger and watch the video. So basically I watched the video and set up the website. My son was in high school which meant that my job as stay-at-home mom was coming to an end and I found myself with much more free time on my hands. I didn’t need to help with homework anymore — my son wouldn’t let me help on. We really don’t think about how being a mom isn’t quite forever and we really don’t think about what we’ll do next. But you have a lot of life left to live and you always have to reinvent yourself and make new friends. I didn’t do it for that reason, but it turned out that it made my life much more interesting than it every couldn’t happen. And people treat me differently than they used to. They all want to know I know! What’s happening in this weekend? And where should I get my hair done?!

What’s the most uncomfortable honest truth you’ve ever delivered?

I probably do it all the time without thinking — which is one of my bad traits — and they may not speak to me anymore. People always come to me for the truth but in fact do they want the truth?

What’s next for you?

Making StacyKnows be something that you look forward to receiving each and every time. I get excited every single time I get a new subscriber. When someone finds me, i get a kick out of it each and every time. It just never gets boring. I get up every day at 6 in the morning and I can’t wait to turn on my computer. I truly love it. I don’t make much money — it’s really just an allowance — but I truly love it and it’s all gone by in a blink! If I could go out 24 hours of every day and meet people, I would be happy.

Ask me anything! Just know that if it’s should I stick with what I’d doing, or should I try something new, I will ALWAYS tell you to try the new thing! That’s my way.
