Grandma’s Advice is Still the Best Beauty Advice
Posted by Stacy
It turns out Grandma’s advice is still the best when it comes to beauty tips.
With cosmetic stores filled with treatments for dark circles, deep wrinkles, acne and crow’s feet- it’s obvious we will try anything to get a glowing complexion- but what about a good night’s sleep?
Grandma was right that you can’t wake up looking refreshed without your eight hours of sleep. She knew that a satin pillowcase would ease the appearance of wrinkles and that sleeping on your back would work wonders. Remember her always telling you to sleep with the window open? It turns out that sleep deprived brains get hotter at night, which causes stress.
These nocturnal agers call be solved by making a few changes to your nighttime routine. Why not give Polar Pillow a try. With over a year of research and development under it’s belt, this cooling pillow is made to keep the head and neck at an optimal, comfortable temperature while you sleep.
It might sound a little high tech, but its science is simple: while you sleep the material in the pillow absorbs the cool air surrounding you while simultaneously removing the heat from your body. Polar Pillow founder Nick Segal explains, “The coolness has a distinct effect- a totally new concept in pillows – it’s helping people get a better night’s sleep, which translates to clearer skin.”
