Ixtapan spa is a 4 star, affordable resort in a cozy corner of colonial Mexico. Each year Phyllis Stoller, a women’s travel guru, personally escorts a group of friends who love a deal. Check us on Tripadvisor.

Typical day: AM coffee, juice, fruit. Guided walk in California-type landscape. yoga or aerobics in the gym. Breakfast: tropical fruit, juices, organic eggs, coffee, cereals, yogurts & cottage cheese. Aqua aerobics in a aqua pool, pilates and zumba.

PM Lunch by the pool. Then spa services. Late PM: salsa aerobics, all day use of modern gym. Join me to shop in the safe charming town or take a sightseeing trip to Taxco. Spa dinners together, nightly movies.
